The Best beaches in Thailand

Without a doubt, the beaches of Thailand are well-known and attract a lot of tourism. Many tourists travel throughout the year to be able to relish the wonders that this land of smiles can offer them.

Today we have prepared a list of the best beaches in Thailand that you can’t miss.

Sai Kaew Beach in Koh Samet:

Sai Kaew is one of the best beaches in Thailand. Also known as Diamond Beach, Sai Kaew is one of the largest and most popular beaches on the island of Koh Samet in Thailand. It does not reach a kilometer in length so everything is quite close, and Koh Samet is a quiet island and not too big.

The sand is white and the water is a rainbow that combines green and blue. You can practice various water sports such as windsurfing, jet-sky, or snorkeling.

Also, it has a good number of bars and restaurants where you can try tropical fruit juices, cocktails on the beach, or a bit of Thai cuisine.

Maenam Beach in Koh Samui:

Maenam Beach is a quiet and undeveloped place compared to the rest of the beach in areas of the Thai island of Koh Samui. It is 7 km long and is surrounded by tropical palm trees.

It is one of the areas preferred by backpackers and travelers on a tight budget. In this area, you will not find many places of entertainment but you can enjoy some bars and restaurants that close soon. So, if you are one of those who like to eat when getting out of the water, keep that in mind.

Kantiang Bay on Koh Lanta:

Koh Lanta Island is one of my favorite places in Thailand. It seems to be the perfect area to rest for a few days on the Thai beaches and connect the whole of the world.

Kantiang beach is undoubtedly the most beautiful on the island, it is located on the island’s National Park and usually has few tourists. Without a doubt, Koh Lanta is a quiet place, it has golden sand and turquoise waters.

Next to this, you will find a small trekking route to go up the mountain of about 2km if you sign up to do it be careful and wear suitable footwear because sometimes the tiles on the path are very slippery due to humidity and moss and you can have some accident that spoils your trip.

Mai Khao Beach in Phuket:

Among the islands of Thailand, Mai Khao Beach is also one of the best beaches in Thailand. It is in Phuket and it is no more and no less than 11 kilometers long. And it is a part of the magnificent Sirinat National Park.

This area is hardly developed except for a couple of hotels that you will find in it. You can walk for thousands of meters without seeing anyone, the translation of the name of this Thai beach is “White Wood”, a nickname earned for its white sand and how little it has been invaded by tourism which makes this area a place worth visiting, you can also check out the James Bond Islands.
